Ring in the holidays with Peter Tavino and Friends as they perform a staged radio performance of Charles Dickens' 1843 classic. This broadcast aired on December 24,1939, and featured Lionel Barrymore as Scrooge and with the Mercury Theatre Group, with featuring Orson Welles as narrator. The story tells of sour and stingy Ebenezer Scrooge. ’s ideological.
